These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AssessIQ platform. By creating an account, signing in, or submitting an assessment, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Accounts and Roles
AssessIQ accounts are created by administrators or self-registered as teachers. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
2. Acceptable Use
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.
- Do not attempt to bypass grading, anti-cheat, or subscription enforcement mechanisms.
- Do not probe, scan, or attempt to compromise the platform's infrastructure.
- Do not use AssessIQ to harass other users or distribute unlawful material.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans (Professional and Elite) renew on the cadence shown at checkout and are billed through PayPal. If a payment fails, your account enters a grace period during which feature access is reduced to the free tier. If the grace period ends without a successful payment, the account and its associated data may be permanently deleted.
Optional add-ons selected at checkout are billed alongside the base subscription. Pricing is shown in US Dollars and may change with notice; existing subscriptions are honoured at the rate in force at the most recent renewal.
4. Refunds
Subscription charges are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact billing within 14 days and we will investigate.
5. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of the assessments, questions, and answer keys you upload. You grant AssessIQ a limited licence to host, process, and display this content solely to deliver the service to you and your students.
6. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows, third-party outages, or force-majeure events may briefly interrupt access.
7. Termination
You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably practical.
8. Disclaimer and Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AssessIQ's aggregate liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of AssessIQ after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
